The family

Alpi s.r.l. was established in the '80s when the innovative and mighty spirit of the young Sergio Cantoni, then in his mid-twenties, together with the entrepreneurial spirit which he inherited from the parents who were early traders in the area - lead him to undertake the activity of meat cutting and production of Brisaola.
Originating from Trepalle - a fraction of Livigno situated at 2200m above sea level and highest permanently inhabited village of Europe - the young Sergio wanted to create an activity linked to the traditions of the country and the culture of the region: the production of “The Brisaola” respecting the traditional method of the place.

Thus Alpi s.r.l. is born, a company that still today follows a production procedure that has an unbreakable bond with the territory.
